Emptiness & Grief

After my project on 'is emptiness an art form' it naturally led onto exploring emptiness and my grief after my brother passed away in 2021. I had more of a focus on video&sculpture within this project as I felt it conveyed a very delicate concept with a delicate nature/materials such as chalk dust. In this project I had some self discovery through creating some of my most effective artworks during a breakdown/letting my emotions aid in the creative process. This also allowed for a very therapeutic project.

'No you can't see the ice melt' (2024) 

Symbolic of the assumption someone will be in your life forever , only for that not to be the case. You don't get to see the ice melt, it's gone.
